We do not store cookies containing personal details or store cookies anywhere on our website. CPHS maintains continuous logs of its web server activity. These log files include the details of web site users’ IP address, browser type and page last visited etc. The log files are used to analyse how the web site is being used by visitors and may be kept in an anonymised form for historical records. When passing between some web pages in our forum the page links are held in temporary cookies but no reference is held to identify you. The cookie is destroyed on exit.
The information generated by the web hosting company including IP addresses, date and time is outwith our control and is a responsibility of third parties where required to do so by law, e.g. where you are transferred from our website to PayPal to complete a financial transaction, and is done so as proscribed by laws governing internet financial transactions.

In some cases, images of flyers, handbills and other ephemera may be copyright to individual jobbing printers to whom we are grateful for fair use here for historical purposes. Finally we have employed OCR scanning of certain books such as Rankins works or County Trade Journals and we again beg fair use for historical purposes from whomsoever now owns the original copyright.
